Events
Civ13 sometimes runs events using its modes and scenarios. An event announcement provides the setting, participation instructions and any additional rules. Check the Civ13 Discord for announcements; this guide is not an event calendar.
Before joining
Read the announced server, map, roles, start time and rules. Join the specified server and follow the lobby instructions. Ask the organiser if a role or requirement is unclear. An event does not waive the server rules.
Modes and maps are selected through votes during ordinary play. Follow the opening briefing or announced match arrangements once the round begins.

Special scenarios
Event-city Hunt puts participants on the run from pursuers. Its opening briefing says not to harm the pursuers; survival through evasion is the objective. This differs from the shipwrecked-pirate Hunt map's Survival RP.
Player vs NPCs, including Cursed Island, uses a cooperative scenario objective. Read the opening briefing, organise supplies and roles, and communicate before splitting up. Discover locations and encounters during play.
Lab breach gives lab personnel and security a containment objective while prisoners seek escape and control of the announced bridge area. Read the faction briefing and timer announcements; use Team Combat for preparation. Do not assume another siege map's victory conditions apply.
During an event
Follow organiser instructions, watch announcements and report problems without disrupting other participants. Leave hidden discoveries, puzzle solutions and unrevealed encounters for players to find in the round.
