Team Combat

Team combat scenarios give factions an objective on a particular map. Read the lobby and opening briefing: equipment, victory conditions, round length and grace periods vary between scenarios. Use the Maps Overview to find your map's guide.

Your first deployment

  1. Check your faction, role and objective before spawning.
  2. Coordinate with your team. Identify who will lead, carry supplies and treat casualties.
  3. Equip for your job and check your weapon before leaving the spawn area. Read the Weapons Guide if you need help loading or operating it.
  4. Observe the announced grace period and map boundaries. Wait for the scenario to permit combat.
  5. Move with teammates and keep the objective in mind. Report threats and casualties; use the Medical Guide when helping an injured teammate.

Objectives

ObjectiveTeam priorities
SiegeAttackers must take the designated position; defenders must hold it. Read the briefing for the capture area and deadline.
Area controlOccupy and defend the announced capture areas. Check capture announcements before moving on.
King of the hillContest the designated position and maintain control. The map determines how control contributes to victory.
Protect a VIPKeep the designated character alive and follow the scenario's instructions. Assign an escort instead of leaving them alone.
Hostage or rescue scenarioIdentify the person or group being protected or rescued, and read the required destination or condition before acting.
FirefightCoordinate your team's movement and preserve its fighting strength. Follow the round's stated elimination or score condition.

Grace periods and roleplay

A barrier opening or timer ending tells you when an area becomes accessible; it does not by itself establish permission to attack in a roleplay scenario. Follow both the briefing and the Rules. Do not assume a timer or capture mechanic from another map applies to the current round.

Individual survival rounds

Battle royale uses an individual survival objective rather than the team objectives above. Watch the playable boundary and the round announcements. Check the scenario briefing before treating another player as a teammate.
